Family Tour to Sri Lanka

I contacted Olanka online about our planned family trip to Sri Lanka. Thamashiya did a great job in pulling together an itinerary that ensured we visited all the sites we wanted to see. We are a family of 4 with 2 teenage kids. Our driver was Ali and he was fantastic. Excellent spoken English and a very safe driver. Believe me, in Sri Lanka, you want a safe driver! Nothing was too difficult and he always accommodated our wants and needs. He took time to explain things, provide us with our options and then help us make decisions. We also had Huzni the photographer from Olanka on our trip which really added to the experience. He was also very knowledgable and had excellent English too. Ali and Huzni joined us for many meals, and were both excellent company. We were quite active and did a number of hikes – some sunrise, some sunset, visited a number of national parks, ate at many local restaurants, and generally really enjoyed the culture, food and people. By choice, we caught a number of local trains between some centres. Olanka, Thamashiya, driver Ali and chief photographer Huzni all added to our experience and ensured everything was seamless.
